Mankind is an organism with sense modality. He feeds on, grows up, moves himself and has powerful instincts such as self-preservation, struggle and effort and sexual appeal.Mankind is an animal, but from the biological point of view, he is not entitled to be living in nature, because he is nearly devoid of any natural armor or weapon. His physical strength is minimal. He can't run fast and swim. Moreover, he has a bare body and so he will perish from heat or cold or other natural disasters, faster than any other animal. So, based on biological factors, mankind has no right to continue living and should have been extinct. But because of some characteristics that distinguish him from other animals, not only he is still alive, but he is superior of the creatures.
Differences between Mankind and Animal
1- Mankind is tool maker. Only mankind is able to make precise and complex instruments.
2- Mankind is a gregarious creature. He lives social and has the most complicated social organizations that cause to creation, acquiring and maturation of art and culture.
3- Mankind is innovative. Any Human generation has (or is able to have) more knowledge than the previous one, whereas other animals transfer their knowledge to the next generation leaving it untouched.
4- Mankind is able to abstract, whereas other animals always think within the framework of unique and palpable objects. Mankind has the ability to think about general subjects. Abstraction is not limited in generalities, but it comprises ideal objects such as numbers and values. Through abstraction and other mental abilities, mankind is able to release himself from dominance of some rules that reign over the nature, such as: being-biologically-beneficial. (Science, religion …)
5- Mankind is thinker. Above-mentioned differences rely on this basic and essential factor that mankind is able to think which is totally different from thinking of other animals. (Such as abstraction, generalization, analysis)Whatever animal knows is always depend on a goal. Animal just see or comprehend something that is useful for his own or his kind. Animal's thinking is totally from practical aspect. But mankind examines and study about subjects that by no means are practical at all, like religion, art and science. Here is an example:
a) In Muslim lands, vine grows very well, but it plants in small quantities. In Christian lands, this is totally in contrary.
b) There are a lot of large villages in deserts which are holy places or temples for Buddhists or Christians, because mankind is independent to some extent from biological rules that ruling over other animals' world.
